Seagrass, Sisal, Jute and Coir flooring are professionally dry-cleaned in the home.

Natural fibre flooring including Jute, Coir, Seagrass and Sisal can be dry cleaned without risk of damage to the fibre construction. Natural fibre flooring is made from read and is quite different to carpets. Read is paper and natural fibre flooring can not be cleaned with conventional wet cleaning systems as these would cause shrinkage, water marks and pile damage.

Our system enables cleaning natural fibre flooring leaving it completely dry and ready for immediate use. We are able to remove dust and dirt and grit which becomes trampled into the flooring in much the same way as with fitted carpets. We use a specially designed machine and cleaning products to remove the dust, dirt, grit etc without the need to spray gallons of water through the flooring. We spot treat all marks and stains individually and by hand some of which may not come out.

Natural fibre carpet is much less stain resistant than conventional tufted carpet and becomes stained very easily particularly by liquid. Liquid stains can be very difficult indeed to remove. Other types of marks and stains-from footwear, food and general grime which become embedded into the flooring are usually removed in the cleaning process.

Some stains may not come out but our system will leave the natural fibre flooring in a much healthier and brighter state.
