Curtain Cleaning

Fabriclean cleans curtains in-situ which saves all the time and bother of taking them down, driving them around and being without them for a few days. We clean curtains while they are hanging on the rail, they are usually ready for use upon completion. The products used are generally biodegradable, and serve to strip away dust, dirt and grime. We do not use solvent based cleaning products when cleaning curtains so there is no risk of shrinkage.

We vacuum and brush the curtains and their linings, paying particular attention to the pleats, pelmets and hard-to-access areas. Once prepared, we clean the curtains by hand using terry towels and biodegradable cleaning products. The cleaning process serves to strip out dust, dirt, grit etc leaving the curtains looking and feeling fresher and healthier, and the room much more dust free.

Because we don’t use dry solvents the curtains will not shrink, which can not be guaranteed by the dry cleaners who often warn to expect five per cent shrinkage.
